Position Description:

You will oversee a talented team of developers as the Senior Manager, iOS Development, to produce sophisticated mobile apps, wearables, and advertising platforms, as well as to introduce cutting-edge technologies and high standards into AccuWeather’s products. Someone who is proficient technically, enthusiastic, cooperative, and passionate about software architecture and design is what we’re searching for.

Responsibilities:

• leads, oversees, and develops a group of software engineers with an emphasis on iOS
• Design, create, and maintain iOS applications with the team.
• champions agile approaches, continuous improvement, and automation
• ensures that abilities are successfully applied to the appropriate problems throughout the team.
• identifies and removes obstacles in the way of achievement
• reports on actions, dangers, and difficulties pertaining to important projects to leadership and business partners
• communicates with the team and leads conversations between the team and functional groupings
• assigns regions of responsibility; guarantees that resources have distinct priorities and enough resources
• Work together on products, technologies, and designs to create novel experiences.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 7+ years of comparable experience and 5+ years of managerial experience, with a BS/BA in the field
• SME recognized for iOS development, technical design, and output
• possess a thorough knowledge of and practical expertise with iOS technologies, such as Swift and Objective-C.
• deep expertise with large-scale, international applications management of teams in an agile software delivery environment management of large projects or programs within a department or functional area with significant business effect
• demonstrates a high level of critical thinking and analysis in solving complex, cross-departmental problems that have a high impact.
