Position Description:

In order to support the company’s future growth, the finance manager will assist with FP&A, business planning, financing, corporate and business development, and analytics. This individual will be in charge of the corporate financial model and actively participate in creating and distributing our Board’s annual budget and quarterly reforecasts. As well as preparing board presentations, financial presentations, capital expenditure analyses, industry/peer group comparisons, new business opportunities, acquisition analysis, and other projects requested by senior management, this person will also offer financial consulting and strategic support to senior management.

Responsibilities:

  • oversee and manage the ongoing development of the tools for modeling, operating plans, financial forecasts, and budgeting.
  • reviews potential portfolio purchases and helps to model how they will affect the bottom line.
  • Analyze the trends in key performance indicators, such as all aspects of revenue, cost of revenue, operational expenses, and capital expenditures, both current and historical trends
  • Keep track of performance metrics, identify patterns, and investigate any unexpected variance’s sources.
  • Providing ad hoc modeling and analysis for strategic objectives to high management
  • Work together with the leadership team to improve operational effectiveness, bottom-line profitability, operational efficiency, and capital spending.
  • Take part in fundraising and M&A activities, provide ad hoc financial analysis for the senior management, and help with special initiatives when they come up.

Other analyses and responsibilities will be allocated Qualifications:

  • Strong Excel modeling abilities; has created complex business models and is knowledgeable about using complex Excel functions and macros
  • Experience of at least 5-7 years, preferably in real estate financing
  • High demand for investment banking experience
  • B.S. in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • strong ability to analyze, solve problems, and engage in critical thought
  • able to prioritize deadlines and manage multiple projects at once
  • Excellent written and vocal presentation abilities the ability to operate under pressure and meet strict deadlines in a demanding, change-oriented, fast-paced workplace
  • outstanding computing skills (Excel and other MS Office applications)
