A big client in Portland has asked Robert Half to help them find a temporary financial analyst who can work from home.

Responsibilities:

  • Figure out commissions and bonuses for sales (Most of the skills needed are attention to detail and good communication, since there are a lot of people to talk to.)
  • Estimate sales commissions and bonuses (Basic understanding of forecast methods and accounting principles like accruals etc)
  • More experience and the ability to pick up the work and add value right away.
  • Using information to make accurate calculations
  • Putting your Advanced Excel skills to good use!

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Three to five years of experience working as a financial analyst.
  • Experience in companies that are growing quickly. The best experience is with a public company.
  • They know how to use Microsoft Office and G Suite, and they are very good at Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Ability to put together large sets of data into complete insights and suggestions.
  • Attention to detail, a sense of urgency, and a willingness to keep going until the job is done.
  • Strong abilities to analyze, think critically, and solve problems.
  • Highly driven, able to learn quickly, and able to do well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Netsuite and Anaplan experience a plus.
  • Reliable internet connection with at least 50 mbps
