For a 3–4 month remote engagement starting right away, Robert Half Management Resources is looking for a capable finance manager to serve our non-profit client situated in Los Angeles. There will be overlap and training as the finance manager takes over for a departing team member who has worked for the company for over 8 years.

The consultant will be responsible for managing the organization’s accounting and financial operations, and they must feel at ease managing both ongoing business operations and a major clean-up effort.

Responsibilities:

• Controlling the monthly closing procedure and reporting package
• Assistance with incomplete prior-year audits
• Takes charge of the 2023 budget process while collaborating with four division leads
• Control the finances of various organization formats, including four different 501(c)(3)s.
• Make sure that money is used appropriately.

Requirements:

It is necessary to possess the following experience:

• ERP program (Blackbaud preferred)
• Powerful Excel (used for budgets and forecasts)
• Working with a varied team before
• The capacity to oversee several projects
