Position Description:

This position reports to the Director of Finance and supports executive management and important functional leaders in the General Operations groups with business partner decision-making. Working closely with top leaders, this job contributes to the creation and implementation of strategies that increase productivity and profitability. We are searching for someone who can foster teamwork across HireRight while advancing deeper understanding of operational performance. In addition, the position calls for a proactive, hands-on approach that is focused on detail and has a high level of intellectual curiosity.

Responsibilities

  • oversee the creation and maintenance of annual budgets and operational expense projections for a number of operating groups.
  • Create and maintain a reliable labor and volume planning model.
  • With the help of the workforce plan, examine and validate the major factors affecting operational costs in collaboration with the leaders of the operations.
  • To help leaders discover performance trends and the causes of expense fluctuations, provide them with monthly financial and business analysis.
  • Establish crucial KPIs for productivity and service quality after evaluating service profitability and direct margin.
  • Support ongoing reporting capability development, including metric standardization and the creation of automated reports and scorecards.
  • Evaluate potential business efficiency opportunities and how they will affect the company’s financial and business objectives proactively.
  • Develop business cases to support strategic planning efforts and transformative project. Complete any other ad hoc finance efforts and projects as needed.
  • In order to support crucial departmental initiatives, the Finance Manager collaborates closely with other team members that make up the Global FP&A team.
  • Work together to offer business and financial guidance to division executives and their senior leaders and to establish a strong sense of financial discipline.
  • The Global FP&A team uses a variety of financial reporting technologies, including but not limited to: Excel, Solver, revVana (Salesforce), Tableau, Power BI, and G365.

Qualifications

  • BS/BA in Accounting or Finance, and at least 6 to 10 years of progressively responsible leadership and management experience An MBA from a prestigious university is preferred.
  • proficiency with Excel, accounting software, and forecasting systems.

  • experience working with big vendor partners to support operations organizations.
  • quickly understands the main commercial factors influencing the background screening market.
