Purchase components for circuit board assembly manufacturing. Coordination with suppliers to meet the needs of the customer in terms of material, competitive pricing, flexibility, and inventory exposure. Assist internal project managers and planners in meeting customer expectations for on-time product delivery. Purchase facility-related products.

Responsibilities:

• Purchase circuit board components and other facility-related items.
• Quotes for new customer assembly builds should be prepared.
• Organize and manage incoming supplier quotes.
• Purchase orders should be expedited to ensure on-time delivery.
• Investigate and locate obsolete and long-lead-time parts.

Requirements:

• Experience purchasing electronics is required.
• Understanding of contract manufacturing.
• Ability to prioritize in order to meet customer delivery requirements.
• The ability to write, read, and speak English is required.
• Ability to multitask and solve problems.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
