Responsibilities:

• Take charge of every facet of SEC reporting.

• Clearly summarize and convey financial performance and trend information to internal leadership

• Manage the creation and dissemination of additional metrics and reporting materials for the firm’s retail funds.

• Manage relationships with third-party fund administrators to make sure the monthly close procedure is completed successfully and on time.

• Examining accounting support materials to facilitate the closing process

• Review and approve the monthly and quarterly trial balances at the director level.

• Foster talent and keep enhancing processes to increase efficiency

• Work together with the operations team to ensure that the Wall Street Office system data used in accounting support packages is accurate, paying particular attention to noteworthy or uncommon activities.

• Coordinate accounting research and disclosure projects.

• Arrange for the quarterly evaluations and yearly audits.

• Help with tender offers and offerings

• Cooperate closely on various disclosure and compliance activities with internal and external lawyers and fund compliance.

• Internal and external reporting on a whim.

Requirements:

• CPA recommended, minimum of 10 years of experience

• The background of a preferred candidate would include:

o Public accounting expertise (audit)

o Exposure to SEC reporting through public investment vehicles

o Knowledge of fixed income securities

o Proficient command of Microsoft Excel operations.

• Prior experience with Wall Street offices and the asset class of bank loans is a plus

• A detail-oriented self-starter who values working in a vibrant, fast-paced organization
