Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a worldwide brand marketing team that focuses on brand health and future demand that can be translated into new registration growth.
  • Plan and manage a marketing calendar, budget, and resource allocation to meet its tactical needs.
  • Plan and build worldwide campaigns that will be localized in important markets, providing support to country marketing associates accountable for revenue growth in their respective territories.
  • Manage the development of integrated campaigns across paid, earned, and owned channels in collaboration with other cross-functional team heads.
  • Develop a culture of creativity, invention, and experimentation by empowering your team and encouraging them to take chances.
  • Influence measurement programs so that we are continually learning, optimizing, and constructing the case for sustained and increasing marketing expenditures.
  • Examine and enhance the systems and procedures that assist Marketing at Strava in becoming a high-performance department.
  • Partner with and maintain relationships with all sorts of agencies, including media and creative, and efficiently obtain their finest work.
  • Coach and mentor marketers so they may hone their abilities, become more self-assured and effective in their employment, and have a clear path to professional and career advancement.
  • You will assist millions of people in adopting and sustaining an active lifestyle, which will result in healthier outcomes and social benefits.
  • Be a leader in upholding an anti-racism commitment and abiding by the Strava ABCs.

Requirements:

  • Have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in marketing jobs, frequently in contexts undergoing rapid change. Experience with technology is preferred but not essential.
  • Bachelor’s degree required. An advanced degree is desirable but not needed. In addition, you continue to invest time and effort in professional development.
  • You are a seasoned marketer whose abilities and experiences span both the art and science of brand-building. In your approaches to problems, you are both analytical and inventive.
  • Are enthusiastic about the creative brilliance and media innovation required for very successful campaigns.
  • Have experience managing several agencies to plan, produce, launch, and sustain successful campaigns.
  • Understand how marketing contributes to business outcomes and corporate expansion, and be able to defend its position if necessary.
  • Are a visionary leader who can offer a unique viewpoint on the importance of brand, marketing excellence, cultural trends, and creative potential. You have a history of launching disruptive and distinctive campaigns to increase brand exposure, consideration, and scalability.
  • Effectively worked in and managed cross-functional teams within flat, matrixed, and fast-paced organizations and environments.
  • Have expertise developing and administering marketing calendars and accompanying budgets.
  • Have effectively enhanced systems and procedures for more effective marketing operations at organizations undertaking a transformation in tandem with their growth.
  • Have a passion for the success of coworkers within the organization and have proved your dedication to coaching and mentoring.
  • Are at ease interacting and collaborating with virtual teams in multiple locations, yet nevertheless manage to maintain sync and influence internal partners.
  • Are willing to occasionally travel up to five days for business purposes to meet with your team, management, or colleagues in the United States or abroad.
  • Engage in and anticipate contributing to Strava’s culture and principles, including our dedication to anti-racism in the workplace, on the platform, and in the community.
