Working Conditions:

As the lead UX product designer for HDMS, you will play a crucial role in a creative project that adopts a contemporary strategy of rigorous agile and lean software methods with the goal of revolutionizing the healthcare analytics landscape. Working closely with our Product and Development partners in a highly collaborative environment, the UX Product Designer is crucial to achieving product success and end-user pleasure. As a member of cross-functional product teams, the UX Product Designer is charged with using a user-centered approach to design to determine the best solution for users.
Success in the position depends on having a solid grasp of user-centered design principles and user research methodology. The fundamental traits of a UX product designer include empathy, inventive problem-solving, comfort with ambiguity, teamwork, great communication skills, curiosity, and learning. Candidates should be able to work primarily remotely, with the proviso that there may be the odd occasion when an in-person meeting is necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the HDMS Product portfolio from a design standpoint; prioritize ongoing development of our current products.
  • Understand user demands to find solutions to issues so that you may create new or better goods that truly matter.
  • Bring a lean/iterative attitude, and be willing to communicate by phone, written materials, etc.
  • Work in cross-functional teams and in pairs with other product managers, designers, and engineers.
  • Adopt an agile attitude by being open to change and experimentation in the design process.
  • Keep up with the latest trends and best practices in UX/UI design.

Remember that this is not an entry-level UX position. For consideration, candidates must meet the requirements for years of experience listed in the necessary section.

Pay Scale:

The usual pay scale for this position is as follows:

At least 90,000
The most: 180,000

Please remember that this range represents the salary range for every position in the job grade that this position belongs to. The location is just one of several variables that will be considered when determining the actual compensation offer.

Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience working professionally as a UX designer or product designer.
  • Experience in at least one of the three design pillars—user research, interaction design, or visual design—for at least two to three years.
  • 2–3 years of successful use of the Agile and lean philosophies.
  • Experience in managing product design decisions from research through implementation over a period of two to three years.
  • 2 to 3 years of expertise using design and prototyping software, such as Sketch or InVision.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Understanding of web technologies like HTML, CSS, and others.
  • Experience working in a highly regulated field, such as financial services, insurance, or healthcare.

Education: Graphic design, information design, interaction design, or experience to the equivalent of a bachelor’s degree
