Position Description:

As a people leader, this individual will motivate and inspire a large team of Verizon Technical Product Owners and third-party partners, as well as Global Process Owners, to deliver disruptive solutions. This individual will decide recruiting, promotion, and disciplinary decisions. Coaches, trains, and motivates the team in order for them to gain subject matter competence. This leader will collaborate with internal and external industry leaders to develop world-class capabilities and enable continuous improvement, with a focus on driving the innovation agenda.

Responsibilities:

• Taking responsibility for the agile delivery model, roadmap, and backlog execution methods for Master Data tools.
• Creating, owning, and executing the product roadmap, as well as the end-to-end data strategy / vision, which includes governance and data continuous improvement.
• Collaboration with stakeholders on product vision, strategy, features, and prioritization.
• Prioritizing and maintaining the sprint backlog for assigned products while balancing business requirements.
• In charge of the product’s functional design process.
• How to drive accountability with upstream data owners to ensure adequate coordination occurs to enable accurate mapping, complete / accurate data for downstream consumption when translating business operations into master data design.
• Handling many Product Technical Leads for all reporting technologies, including SAP MDG, Oracle EDM, ServiceNow, and other workflow systems.
• Coordination of support for other groups’ system projects if there are consequences for downstream systems.

It’s even better if you have at least one of the following:

• A bachelor’s degree is required.
• Six years of reporting and analytics experience.
• Ability to define strict technical / architectural standards while speaking our business partners’ language in order to impact the strategic direction of master data capabilities.
• Experienced in moving a firm forward in a fast-paced environment, giving insight for direction, and effectively managing change.
• Six years of expertise developing and maintaining BI Reporting and Analytics systems.
• Extensive experience building next-generation BI Reporting and Analytics platforms and capabilities.
• Management experience leading big, dynamic teams in a fast-paced workplace.
• Expertise delivering scaled agile.
• Understanding of a pragmatic approach to business, procedures, and user requirements.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to recognize the impact of decisions on end customers.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Interaction skills with team members and external customers.
• Excellent presenting abilities at all levels of management; capacity to express complicated subjects in a way that the audience understands.
• Capability to prioritize efforts and tasks in a high-volume, high-speed setting.
