This post will work with a subdivision within Cigna called CareAllies. CareAllies is a management company that collaborates with payer and provider organizations to enhance the value, quality, and patient experience of treatment in order to improve healthcare for all. You will collaborate closely with providers as a member of the Provider Engagement Team to hasten their shift to value-based care and to support them in managing the long-term health of their patients. In order to support treatment plans, CareAllies’ consultative approach places a strong emphasis on physician participation, delivery system organization and culture change, actionable data and analytics, as well as patient interaction. To promote transformation and guarantee success in a value-based market, we work together with providers.

Responsibilities:

The CareAllies Provider Engagement Internal Representative position is intended for a healthcare newcomer. You will learn about the Management Business from the ground up and how we assist our Customers in the marketplace. You will have the chance to hone your managerial abilities and gain experience in a flexible, dynamic workplace. The internal representative for provider engagement offers:

Roles and obligations

  • Builds and maintains good relationships with doctors, providers, practice managers, and provider office personnel in order to quickly investigate and resolve claims issues.
  • Resolve the underlying causes of provider complaints, grievances, claims, and care delivery.
  • Support assigned groups’ tactical operations by providing contracting, data integrity, communications, and relationship management.
  • Works with various internal divisions to facilitate Provider Engagement Team needs, including but not limited to Health Services, Finance, Claims, and Coding
  • Identifies the appropriate individuals or resources, both inside and externally, to address problems promptly
  • Prepares and distributes materials for designated provider groups.
  • Helps with planning, organizing, and arranging meetings both internally and externally. able to participate in sessions at night when necessary
  • Submits change requests for operating system updates related to provider demographics, credentialing, and contract modifications
  • Accounts Submission of payables and payment tracking
  • Uses Salesforce to maintain accurate provider data information.
  • Monitors and keeps track of provider updates
  • Essential program performance parameters, such as utilization, coding, and STARs/quality performance, are tracked, monitored, and reported on.

Requirements:

What you need to complete the task

  • GED or a high school diploma
  • It is highly recommended that you have knowledge of the health insurance sector, terminology, provider networks, contracting, and credentialing.
  • Strong oral, written, and presentational communication skills.
  • Public speaking expertise is a plus.
  • Excel at an intermediate level is preferred (knowledge of pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
  • Team player with a track record of successfully managing and fostering working relationships in a matrix environment to gain buy-in and produce results.
  • Imaginative thinker having the capacity to go beyond the norm and put concepts into practice
  • Powerful problem-solving abilities

  • Work Designation: This position is classified as flexible and calls for a mix of office days, WAH, and field work. Vehicle and a Current Driver’s License are required (mileage reimbursement provided)
  • Meetings with providers may be required as part of your duties. These meetings can be scheduled for early in the morning (7am) or in the evening at the convenience of the clients (6pm). You will be requested to support sporadic weekend conferences according to a schedule that is supplied in advance (2 x year).

Whether you intend to work from home on a regular basis or infrequently, you must have an internet connection from a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with minimum download and upload speeds of 10 Mbps and 5 Mbps, respectively.
