Millions of individuals use our cryptocurrency wallet to access web3 applications and financial services. As a data scientist at Phantom with a focus on product analytics, you will assist our product teams in making data-driven choices. As we bridge the gap between the blockchain and the beautiful experience our consumers have come to enjoy, you will have a unique opportunity to impact important product and infrastructure decisions.

Although this position is entirely remote, we are only accepting applications from people in the US and the EU.

Responsibilities

• Data empowerment – Create and share data-driven insights to impact product and business choices.
• Create experiments and metrics – Recognize our expansion and gauge the effects of operational and product improvements.
• Collaborate – As a part of the growth team, you can support the company plan by collaborating with stakeholders in the product, engineering, design, and operations areas.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience leading decision-making in product-driven businesses.
• a proven track record of working with partners across functional boundaries to make an impact utilizing data analysis
• experience with large-scale, diversified data sets for analysis, cleaning, and report preparation.
• Understanding of statistical concepts including selection bias, probability distributions, and conditional probabilities as well as experience with experiment design and funnel analysis.
• SQL mastery and knowledge with R and/or Python for modeling and analysis.
• Expert knowledge of data sets for cryptography, NFTs, and DeFi is desirable.
