As a Data Scientist at CVS Health, you will have the opportunity to independently tackle complex problems and innovate solutions. You will be responsible for utilizing advanced statistical techniques and mathematical analyses to structure predictive models. Collaborating with business partners, you will translate their needs into analytics projects, present recommendations to senior staff, and act as an analytics product owner. Your role will involve data analysis, programming, and the development of solutions to enhance healthcare.

Responsibilities:

• Independently solve complex problems and provide new perspectives on existing solutions.
• Develop predictive models and perform statistical analysis to address multiple and complex business challenges.
• Collaborate with business partners to understand their goals, develop predictive models, and create performance metrics.
• Act as an analytics product owner, leading the development of solutions with moderate complexity and risk.
• Present analytics results and solutions to existing and prospective clients.
• Investigate problems, detect patterns, and recommend solutions using algorithms and predictive models.
• Utilize strong programming skills to explore and interpret large datasets.

Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of analytic experience with a track record of business impact.
• 3+ years of data science experience, preferably in consulting.
• Proficiency in SQL, Tableau, and programming using Python/R.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of advanced analytics tools and languages for analyzing large datasets from multiple sources.
• Ability to anticipate and prevent problems and roadblocks.
• Effective communication of technical concepts to business partners.
• Proficiency in mathematical analysis, machine learning, statistical analyses, and predictive modeling.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Physics, Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree or PhD preferred.
