Responsibilities:

Pharmaceutical Machine Learning Engineers create and alter complicated software application programs in support of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence efforts using their specific depth and experience. In addition to creating Machine Learning applications and proof of concepts, this individual will be responsible for promoting, teaching, and collaborating with teams throughout the organization to develop best practices around the chosen technology stacks (POC). This job will also develop thorough specifications and carry out quality assurance assessments of peer application programming as a member of the recently formed Pharmaceutical Machine Learning Engineering team.

• To meet organizational goals, develop machine learning solutions.
• Consult the product development team’s best practices for developing machine learning applications and infrastructure technology stacks that are particular to machine learning/AI (e.g. GPU-based systems, A.I. in public cloud, etc).
• In order to productionalize Machine Learning models created by Data Scientists and ML Engineers, apply best practice software engineering concepts to the construction of apps.
• Utilize Big Data and Data Science technologies (i.e. one or more of SQL, Hadoop, Spark, Python, R) to both source and interact with data
• Make sure the technology solutions from various vendors are delivered with high quality to a family of applications’ several concurrent projects or programs.
• Provide remedies for a number of ongoing initiatives.
• Determine and implement possibilities for process improvement related to supporting the application area.
• Take measures to improve team knowledge of ESI and vendor partners.
• Act as the team’s SME for various team members.
• Provide projects and programs technical direction for challenging parts using various technology suites.
• Provide standardized procedures, elements, and rules for the utilization of sophisticated technological components.
• Address critical incidents requiring high production.
• Find the source of the issue and drive a solution.
• As assigned, work on additional tasks.

Requirements:

• A Master’s degree in a relevant discipline, a Bachelor’s degree and three or more years of relevant experience, or the equivalent in training and experience
• Strong familiarity with relational and NoSQL database concepts and data processing
• Data structures, algorithms, performance complexity, and the effects of computer architecture on program performance (such as I/O and memory optimization) are some of the core concepts in computer science.
• The fundamentals of software engineering: workflows, version control systems (such as Git, Github), and the capacity to produce code
• Complete comprehension and widespread application of technological theories, principles, and concepts.
• Ability to develop and use technical solutions for a variety of challenging issues.
• Innovative, detailed, usable solutions that are also in line with organizational goals are provided.
• An intense focus on customer service.
• Familiarity with the PBM or healthcare industries.
• Accustomed to operating in a vendor-partner paradigm.
• Able to work a flexible schedule to accommodate project deadlines.

Whether you intend to work from home on a regular basis or infrequently, you must have an internet connection from a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with minimum download and upload speeds of 10 Mbps and 5 Mbps, respectively.
We anticipate paying between 100,500 and 167,500 USD per year for this role, depending on pertinent aspects like experience and location.
Additionally, it is anticipated that this position will qualify for the yearly bonus program.
