Responsibilities:

  • helping clients by completing ML projects from start to finish, which include comprehending business needs, gathering and analyzing data, investigating data, developing and validating predictive models, and deploying finished models with idea
  • Use AWS AI services (including Personalize), ML platforms (like SageMaker), and frameworks (like MXNet, TensorFlow, PyTorch, SparkML, scikit-learn) to assist our customers in building ML models.
  • Drift monitoring and retraining to deliver business benefit to the organization
  • Investigate and use cutting-edge machine learning techniques, such as hardware improvements on AWS Inferentia
  • Collaborate with our Professional Services engineers to operationalize customers’ models after they are prototyped, and with our other Professional Services experts in Big Data, IoT, and HPC to analyze, extract, standardize, and label pertinent data.

Requirements:

PRIMARY QUALIFCATIONS

  • Five or more years of expertise with statistical/mathematical software (e.g., R, SAS, Matlab, etc.), scripting languages (e.g., Python), or data querying languages (e.g., SQL).
  • 4+ years of experience as a data scientist
  • Statistical model experience, such as multinomial logistic regression
  • Previous experience as a software engineer, product manager, economist, or scientist
  • A bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline, such as computer science, data science, business analytics, economics, engineering, statistics, or mathematics

DESIDERED SPECIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of overseeing data pipelines
  • Master’s degree in a quantitative subject, such as computer science, engineering, economics, finance, statistics, data science, or business analytics
  • Prior management and coaching experience
