Company: Parade

Position Description:

Parade is seeking a Data Analyst to help drive the company’s strategic direction through powerful and clear analyses. This person will be responsible for the end-to-end data pipeline, our business intelligence tools, the creation of clean data models, and the delivery of cross-business insights and analysis. This position will collaborate closely with our cross-functional partners to understand their requirements, design and execute modifications to our data models, and evangelize the effective use of that data.

You’ll do the following:

  • Maintain cross-functional ties to aid in strategy development and data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaboration with key stakeholders is required to translate business requirements into effective data models, visualizations, and dynamic reports.
  • Clean datasets are modeled for analysis using SQL-based queries.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of our data pipeline and business intelligence tools, which make data available to all teams across the firm.
  • Encourage your own curiosity through self-driven projects that meaningfully inform how we operate, making us more influential, efficient, and thoughtful.
  • Work on cross-company ad hoc analytics initiatives that require more complex data processing and modeling.

Things you’ll need to bring:

  • You have 2+ years of professional experience in a data-intensive function, ideally at a high-growth company, with hands-on modeling skills.
  • You’re a self-starter who can operate independently, including asking questions and modifying methods in a constantly changing environment.
  • Technical concepts can be easily communicated to a wide range of audiences, from engineers to non-technical business stakeholders.
  • It is necessary to have prior experience with business intelligence and web analytics solutions (we utilize Looker and Amplitude!) or third-party platforms.
  • SQL knowledge is preferred, but not needed.
  • Comprehension of ETL, data warehousing, and data mining
