Duties of an E-Commerce Customer Service Manager:
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the customer service department.
- Reacting to customer service issues as soon as possible.
- Developing efficient customer service procedures, rules, and standards.
- Creating customer satisfaction goals and coordinating with the team to fulfill them on a consistent basis.
- Developing a successful consumer loyalty program.
- Keeping accurate records and recording all customer service operations and conversations.
- Analyzing service data and writing detailed reports on your results.
- Recruiting and training new customer service representatives.
- Handling the customer service department’s approved budget.
- Keeping up to date on the newest industry techniques and practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related subject.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience as a customer service manager.
- Expertise with e-commerce platforms such as Zendesk, Shopify, Salesforce, **Gorgias, and others. A definite plus.
- Microsoft Office and customer service software proficiency is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Excellent knowledge of management strategies and techniques.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.
