Responsibilities:
It will be expected of customer service representatives to:
- Respond to inquiries from members and providers by phone, offering tailored customer care to address concerns and answer questions.
- Make use of all available resources and apps to guarantee timely member and provider satisfaction.
- Record and monitor communications with providers, members, and any other callers.
- Finish making outgoing calls to members or providers in order to educate them or help with escalate situations.
- Show sympathy and empathy. Establish a relationship of trust with our members by interacting with them, educating them, and pointing them in the direction of unambiguous care.
- Assure end-to-end responsibility for the member or provider by predicting needs and offering specifics on new plans, benefit plans, member self-service capabilities, and other topics that may raise unanswered queries.
- Assist the member in understanding the benefits, policies, and procedures of their plan and provide tools to ensure compliance with any applicable regulations.
Requirements:
- One to two years of prior call center experience.
- Capacity to manage calls in a busy call center setting effectively.
- Excellent communication abilities, both in writing and speech.
- Needs to be quality driven, detail minded, and focused.
- Excellent analytical abilities.
- Encourages the pursuit of personal, group, and corporate objectives.
- Must exhibit member-centric customer service and the desire to fully represent our members by handling every call with the goal of resolving issues on the first call.
