In order to help Garner members locate the best healthcare for their needs, comprehend how the Garner program operates, and help them get their qualified claims reimbursed, we are seeking a Contract Customer Service Representative to join our team. Member support by phone, chat, and email is the main responsibility of this function. Since the member services team represents Garner, you should have a proactive approach to problem solving and a strong desire to assist others. You will become an authority on Garner’s operations, membership demands, and product in this capacity.

Associates are expected to work a fixed 8-hour shift between our operational hours of 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Eastern Time in order to guarantee that we have coverage for Garner users.

This is a contract to hire role that is entirely remote and will at least last until the end of January 2024.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing exceptional phone, chat, and email support to our members; providing information and direction to enable them to comprehend and take advantage of their benefits; and assisting them in locating the ideal supplier for their requirements
  • addressing member inquiries in accordance with established best practices and making suggestions for process enhancements when you find them
  • Organize and manage workload with Garner’s platform and tools, like as G Suite and Zendesk.
  • Sorting and prioritizing urgent and complicated member care requirements
  • Maintaining a practical, detail-oriented understanding of insurance and health benefits provided by employers
  • sending leadership teams member feedback so they may enhance Garner’s solution

Requirements:

  • Possess a creative and compassionate mindset with a strong desire to assist others in solving their difficulties; have prior experience working with customers in a customer-facing setting; maintaining composure under duress Outstanding written and spoken communication abilities

This position pays between $17 and $19 per hour. The salary for this position will vary based on a number of criteria, such as experience, education, and any relevant legal requirements.
