Responsibilities:
Obtains the most recent patient data from both current and new patients. Enters/updates patient data into the scheduling system accurately. determines payer source and confirms insurance coverage. When necessary, assists patients with the paperwork completion process. Check the Scheduling System for any updated consent forms and necessary demographic information. Identifies patients in the computer system by name and date of birth and schedules appointments. if patient is not already in the system, creates new account. sets up appointments and changes them as necessary. regularly exhibits exceptional customer service abilities. daily appointments/transfers for WHS and Primary Care treatments totaled more than 60. By arranging charts, insurance papers, and patient documentation, the team was able to remain productive. authorized medicine refills and gave pharmacies information about prescriptions. Before making appointments, run RTEs. Read recommendations and direct them to the proper departments. answers the phone politely and promptly, ideally after three rings. demonstrates mature, polite, professional, and cooperative communication with customers. accepts communications accurately and communicates information to the addressee. when it is medically necessary, transfers calls to doctors and nurses. respects and upholds patient privacy in accordance with policies and procedures. Registration paperwork are accurately imported into the patient’s electronic health record. They must confirm that they are collecting up-to-date patient data, which will require them to determine insurance eligibility, update permission forms and demographic information, set up new appointments, or create profiles for new patients.

Additional abilities & credentials:
1 year of fast-paced customer service experience *A minimum of 6 months of expertise using Google Sheets/Docs and/or Microsoft Word/Excel is needed. * For our remote workforce, high speed DSL, fiber, or cable internet connectivity is necessary. * A wired connection with a minimum download speed of 20 mbps and an upload speed of at least 10 mbps is strongly recommended. * You must be able to type at least 20 words per minute.
