To join our busy claims department, our claims team is seeking experienced claims processors. As a claims processor, it will be your job to efficiently and accurately judge paper claims based on electronic images in a production setting.

Responsibilities:

• Calling Members and/or Providers directly to confirm information
• Examining and processing paper claims.
• Keeping receipts for claims accurate in accordance with accepted operational and adjudication procedures.
• Correctly resolving outstanding claims in accordance with national and state laws as well as particular health plan requirements.
• Keeping to deadlines to fulfill customer performance assurances for processing claims.
• Achieving requirements for productivity and accuracy

Pay Scale

The usual pay scale for this position is as follows: 17.00 minimum; 27.90 maximum

Please remember that this range represents the salary range for every position in the job grade that this position belongs to. The location is just one of several variables that will be considered when determining the actual compensation offer.

Requirements:

Required credentials

• Good verbal and written communication skills at least one year of work experience with a progressive trend in responsibility and accountability, ideally in the healthcare industry
• Extensive functional knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products

Education
