Responsibilities:
- Accountable for managing regular customer support questions and issues via chat, digital, or phone channels using strong problem-solving and communication techniques. Standardized displays, scripts, and procedures must be used in response to these common customer service inquiries.
- Handles consumer inquiries by navigating a digital system and providing answers or troubleshooting.
- Excellent verbal communication and problem-solving abilities are required, along with the ability to multitask when necessary.
- Actively monitors and reports to management any risks or issues that affect customers while performing day-to-day duties.
- You will require a peaceful workstation while working from home so that you may concentrate on our clients. Additionally, you will require a minimum internet provider download speed of 100 MBPS and upload speed of 10 MBPS. It must be a wired connection.
- We’ll supply you with whatever you require! laptop, keyboard, mouse, headset, monitors, and a fantastic new hire training program. And to assist you in providing the greatest service possible, you’ll have the best coaches!
- Helps more than 100 clients every day by actively participating in a hurried, back-to-back conversation setting via the phone, online, or through chat.
- Demonstrates empathy when responding to questions from customers on credit line increase and decrease requests, processing lost or stolen cards, updating customer information, activating cards, making payments, and processing reward redemptions.
- Uses exact scripts, procedures, and two standard screens.
- Responds to, troubleshoots, and documents client inquiries using a variety of systems.
- Develops the Discover Financial brand by offering cutting-edge products and care that leads the industry.
Requirements:
- GED or High School Diploma
- +1 year of experience in customer service
