Position Description
We are currently seeking a motivated Compensation Manager to join our team. The Compensation Manager will work closely with our human resources department to provide technical guidance on compensation programs, ensure staff compliance with organizational policies, and monitor overall compensation competitiveness. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills, be adaptable to changes, and demonstrate strong leadership qualities.
Responsibilities
– Oversee compensation staff and processes on a daily basis
– Train compensation staff to adhere to organizational policies and procedures
– Provide technical guidance on a variety of compensation programs and serve as an escalation point as needed
– Collaborate with leadership and key stakeholders on program design recommendations and implementations
– Monitor the overall competitiveness and optimal performance of compensation through surveys, benchmarking and trend analysis and feedback from recruiting and stakeholders
– Inform HR staff of relevant compensation changes
– Collaborate with leadership at all levels by providing system-wide technical and consulting services on compensation systems issues
Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required
– Minimum of three (3) years of progressive leadership experience required
– Minimum of five (5) years experience developing and administering compensation programs
– Minimum of 5 years overall HR experience
– Strong preference for experience-based pay experience
– Healthcare industry experience is preferred
– Lean Management experience is preferred
