You will have the chance to work on a variety of sustainability-related projects, with a main focus on the GHG Inventory, GHG emission reduction project, carbon removal project, science-based targets, and task force for climate-related financial disclosures.
When you do this, you will have the chance to interact with many of the top brands and organizations in the region across a variety of industries and to use a range of services and digital technologies to scope out, sell, and deliver creative solutions.
How You’ll Act
- Management of the carbon offset assurance program
- Verification and validation of carbon offset projects Development and assurance of the GHG Inventory
- Reporting of Regulatory GHG Inventory for ARB/Canada statewide reporting
- Assurance of product carbon footprint development
- Based on Science Setting goals or modeling
- Assurance of Sustainability Reports
- Consulting on ESG, green bonds, and sustainable finance
- Changing weather
- This position is in charge of staying current on the regulations and voluntary offset program requirements and making sure that internal procedures are in line with any modifications to the program requirements. Via the following actions, you will be required to take the lead on initiatives and contribute to ensuring continuous and excellent customer service:
- proactively attempting to ascertain client requirements while providing sustainability solutions
- Along with our technical experts, we’re creating customized solutions to make sure we can help our customers with their GHG reporting and achieve their carbon reduction goals.
- coordinating projects and ensuring they are completed according to DNV quality standards, customer expectations, and time and budget constraints
- Taking charge and effectively interacting with clients and the rest of the sustainability team
What is necessary
- an undergraduate degree in environmental engineering, mathematics, or another STEM field
- 2 years of expertise providing consulting/verification services in the market for carbon offsets, together with 5 years of related job experience
- Proven track record as a team leader or project manager that delivers exceptional service
- strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Excel and Microsoft product knowledge
- a pro at least one of the following:
- Calculating GHG inventories
- project development or assurance for carbon offsets
- Life cycle evaluations
- can clearly explain mathematical concepts to non-technical audiences
- willingness to labor throughout the Americas and occasionally outside of them.
- license must be current and valid.
