Within CVS Health’s Medical Claims and Prior Authorization platform, the Lead Business Configuration Coordinator is in charge of the operational development and performance of prior authorization criteria, including configuration data, clinical procedures, and medical notification papers (Novologix). The position closely collaborates with other business departments to manage planned and unplanned initiatives for new client deployment and maintenance. The job assumes leadership over work flow, client-facing tasks, and where necessary, communication with IT resources. Cross-functional tasks exist to assist other CVS Health divisions as needed.

Pay Scale

The usual pay scale for this position is as follows: 18.50 minimum; 34.60 maximum

Please remember that this range represents the salary range for every position in the job grade that this position belongs to. The location is just one of several variables that will be considered when determining the actual compensation offer.

Requirements:

Required credentials

  • 5+ years of expertise with MS Office
  • Strong communication abilities both in writing and speaking
  • 5+ years of experience demonstrating the ability to manage several projects independently, prioritize tasks, and assign tasks to others in a timely manner.
  • Agile change; readiness and capacity to modify one’s course and that of their team in response to shifting goals and commercial requirements
  • Ability to solve problems, analyze critically, and make judgments while predicting their overall effects

Preferred Requirements

  • Preferably 6+ months of Novologix platform experience
  • Preferably 2+ years of experience working for the Business Configuration Coordinator team
  • Preferably 3+ years of experience working in an IT or healthcare environment
  • Preferable knowledge of federal and state pharmaceutical regulations

Education: The equivalent years of experience OR a BA/BS in mathematics, statistics, health care administration, business, economics, or a related discipline
