By reporting and predicting financials for Speciality Drug Pricing Guarantee Management, Negative Margin Management, and Client Contract Compliance, you will contribute to the growth of our specialty business’s financial performance as a Senior Analyst in the Specialty Contract Management group. As part of this position, you will also be in charge of engaging with the Network team, Account Team, Underwriting, Legal, New Product team, and other departments within the organization as well as serving as a subject matter expert in matters relating to Specialty and Home Infusion.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct monthly data pulls for clients with specialty guarantee. Examine performance data, drug usage, and drug mix to find ways to reduce the organization’s financial risk.
2. Review contract terms and financial performance to suggest more benevolent contract terms to the legal, underwriting, and account teams.
3. Work together with partners in underwriting, finance, and accounting to identify and close gaps and overlaps in processes and to better comprehend the numerous elements and variables that influence a client’s financial performance.
4. Conduct a lookback study to compare underwriting hypotheses with actual results in an effort to make suggestions to senior leadership for the future.

Pay Scale

The usual pay scale for this position is as follows: 43,700 minimum; 97,400 maximum

Requirements:

Required credentials

• A minimum of four years’ experience building financial models, dealing with huge data sets, and using databases.
• 4+ years of experience overseeing numerous projects and meeting deadlines – Excel proficiency required

Preferred Requirements

• SQL experience of two or more years PBM experience of two or more years Knowledge of the health insurance, managed care, or pharmaceutical industries

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree is a must, though appropriate job experience may also be taken into account.

• Prefer master’s degree
