Position Description:

NTT DATA is seeking ambitious team players that can swiftly adjust to new situations and start their own businesses. For our international customer in Houston, Texas, we are looking for a Lead Business Analyst, ETRM (open to 100% remote).

Responsibilities:

  • Start a significant foundational project to update the Energy Trading Risk Management System (ETRM) platform on a worldwide scale.
  • Define the solution’s scope and structure in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders.
  • Take the lead in identifying and capturing business needs, and collaborate with technical teams to find workable solutions.
  • Organize and oversee the delivery of your workstream’s business analysis efforts.
  • managing a workstream’s scope and design, including evaluating the opportunities, risks, and business consequences of alternative solution options.
  • act as the focal point for concerns arising in your workstream.
  • The business analysis team needs a coach and mentor.
  • Create original solutions to current issues or brand-new opportunities.
  • Building connections with important stakeholders by keeping them informed and controlling expectations is known as stakeholder management.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of relevant business analysis experience delivering projects from beginning to conclusion
  • Knowledge of how to shape solutions and processes, including how to identify business issues, value drivers, and functional and non-functional requirements.
  • solid analytical talents, strong leadership, and change management skills.
  • interacting with stakeholders at various organizational levels, and having proven stakeholder management skills.
  • QA expertise in regard to workstream deliverables.
  • working knowledge of agile project delivery.
  • Experience in trading energy:
  • Must be a SME in one of the functional areas or one of the commodities (Power, Gas, or Environmental Products) (Front, Middle or Back-Office). Trade capture, complicated transaction modeling, and pricing are only a few examples of functional areas.
  • Market Risk: Risk Assessment
  • Back-office operations
  • Accounting methods
  • between ETRM systems migration
  • having practical understanding of a variety of trading products, such as OTC transactions, which include forwards, swaps, and simple options.
  • Lifecycle of exchange traded futures and options, including cascading.
  • Having knowledge of one of the following markets is advantageous, although experience in energy trading marketplaces is preferred:
  • European gas, electricity, or environmental goods.
