After the new year, a healthcare client of Robert Half’s in Portland, Oregon, will require a long-term billing clerk. This is an entirely remote situation (once equipment is picked up from the worksite in Portland, OR so you must be relatively local). Strong experience in Medicare billing and follow-up is desired by our client.

Responsibilities:

• Examine, assess, and handle bills and invoices for services provided.
• Check the accuracy and completeness of billing records and other data, and add any missing information as appropriate.
• Create financial procedures and controls.
• Cooperate closely with other functional teams to guarantee data consistency and quality

Requirements:

• Experience with Epic software + Using the Noridian Medicare Portal + Direct Data Entry in the Medicare Processing
