Position Description:
A Patient Engagement Advisor position is available at Concert Health. This person will be a part of the wider Patient Connection team that works with patients to enrol them in Concert Health’s Collaborative Care program. Relationship building, active listening, and critical thinking are all used in this position to qualify patients and assist in directing them through the enrollment process. The Patient Engagement Advisor plays a crucial role in helping patients get access to high-quality care and achieve organizational objectives.
Responsibilities
- Daily outreach to potential patients should be done to sign them up for Concert Health.
- Inbound calls and voicemails should be answered with the utmost promptness and customer service.
- Use a choice of electronic medical record software to capture patient calls and notes.
- During the enrolling process, thoroughly explain medical benefits to patients.
- Respond to patient inquiries about billing or scheduling
- Participate in follow-up activities after enrollment
Requirements
- Having worked in sales or customer service for at least a year, with a preference for the healthcare industry
- Required to be bilingual in English and Spanish
- knowledge of Salesforce, Zendesk, or electronic medical records software
- Proactive\sEmpathetic
- extremely driven by oneself.
- Collaborative familiarity with care a bonus
- Experience with direct patient care is a bonus.
- In healthcare billing or revenue cycle management
