If you enjoy assisting others and thrive in a fast-paced environment, you may be a good fit for the bilingual call center team at Progressive. Successful candidates must be able to multitask, have customer service experience, and be able to navigate multiple computer systems, as you will be answering calls from our Spanish-speaking customers.

This is a remote position with computer equipment and extensive training provided. The preferred candidates will reside within Texas.

Job opportunities

  • Through benefits selling, bilingual Inbound Sales Representatives share their knowledge of Progressive’s products and services to ensure appropriate insurance coverage.
  • Bilingual Customer Service Representatives support customers’ inquiries and insurance policy needs by responding to questions about coverage, rates, billing issues, and general policy reviews while also recommending additional products.
  • Bilingual Claims Representatives care for accident-affected customers by displaying empathy while filing new claim reports; you will also offer customers additional products.

Essential qualifications

  • At least two years of postsecondary education
  • Rather than the aforementioned, two years of relevant work experience
  • Only for commercial purposes:
  • If you do not have a Property & Casualty license, you will have the opportunity to obtain one during training (and must remain compliant with licensing requirements as an employee)
  • Both Spanish and English are native (verbal and written)
  • Beginning of training: February 2023
  • After completion of training, most schedules will include a weekend day and evening hours.

Work from home office specifications

  • A designated work area devoid of noise and other interruptions.
  • Internet connection for remote office via DSL or Cable Modem with a minimum speed of 10 Mbps down and 1 Mbps up
  • The provided computer must be physically connected via cable to the router or modem (no wireless connection)
  • Every piece of Progressive hardware you receive must be plugged into a surge protector.
  • You are responsible for the cost of high-speed Internet access unless otherwise required by law.
