The Music Account Assistant will work with a client who is a highly matrixed telecom and entertainment company in CAA’s Brand Consulting division in Los Angeles. The position assists the team in managing the client’s portfolio of Hispanic marketing Latin music sponsorships, which also includes radio partnerships, grassroots campaigns, regional events, and drive to retail initiatives. The function places a strong emphasis on administrative duties that aid in keeping the team organized and ready for research, strategy, and project implementation.

Responsibilities:

  • Phone calls, scheduling meetings and agendas, creating expenditure reports, producing mail, booking and managing travel, and providing support for special projects as required are all administrative tasks.
  • Attend team meetings, create agendas, and disseminate notes that are ready for internal and external clients.
  • Create and maintain pitch decks and, when required, offer market research.
  • Opportunities for research on upcoming technological trends and CAA clientele.
  • Assist in locating new sources of income for our clientele.
  • Work together and cross-departmentally across all agency verticals while upholding strict confidentiality.

Requirements:

  • Strong preference for a BA/BS from a reputable university or college.
  • Understanding of and enthusiasm for brand partnerships, events, and music promotion.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to learn about new business opportunities.
  • Interested in the field of experiential, event, and field marketing.
  • Extremely adaptable, well-organized, and capable of multitasking.
  • Strong communication and organizing abilities.
  • Accuracy and the capacity to pay strict attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle numerous projects at once while meeting deadlines.
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) proficiency is essential, with a focus on PowerPoint.
  • Collaborative and does well in a hectic setting.
  • Innovative and strategic problem solver with a keen eye for social, digital, and technological trends.
  • Experience as a brand ambassador or in-person field marketing is a bonus.
  • Spanish and English bilingualism is a plus.

Compensation

This position’s starting hourly wage is $22.00. Benefits and a bonus are also available for this employment.
