In this position, you will be in charge of managing a Medicare Advantage business that is extremely complicated and regulated and is a crucial component of our corporate growth strategy (public commitment to expanding 10%–15% yearly for the next 5 years). One or more micromarkets in the Midwest and Mid America markets, each having a wide range of products and provider risk arrangements, will be managed by the Head Financial Analyst/Micromarket BFO. Agility, persuasive leadership, and a drive for outcomes are just a few of the skill sets required to handle this broad range of responsibility.

This Lead Financial Analyst/Micromarket BFO position will manage Medicare Advantage’s financial strategy, planning, and analysis. With a close working connection, they will be in charge of managing the market’s financial reporting, analysis, and business support. They will also manage the annual bid strategy process while balancing growth and profitability. The candidate will be in charge of collaborating with a sizable number of matrix partners in addition to their individual Market President.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the creation of and oversee the implementation of the Market’s multi-year growth strategy.
  • By working together with the market to drive the incredibly complex Medicare annual bid process, corporate expectations for growth and profitability can be correctly balanced.
  • Using information and knowledge from internal and external sources to persuade business partners to take steps that will increase the cost-effectiveness and marketability of Medicare Advantage plans
  • Builds solid relationships with a highly matrixed, cross-functional business team in order to achieve goals.
  • Supporting initiatives for global expansion

Requirements:

  • Strong preference for a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, analytics, actuarial science, or a similar subject.
  • Substantial expertise in healthcare, financial analysis, or a similar field for at least two to three years
  • Superior financial acumen and expertise in managing key profit levers to achieve profitable growth
  • The capacity to consult with senior leaders on both technical and non-technical business issues
  • Ability to recognize difficulties, come up with answers, and locate alternatives
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Whether you intend to work from home on a regular basis or infrequently, you must have an internet connection from a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with minimum download and upload speeds of 10 Mbps and 5 Mbps, respectively.

We anticipate paying between 70,400 and 117,300 USD per year for this role, based on pertinent aspects like experience and location.
Additionally, it is anticipated that this position will qualify for the yearly bonus program.
