Our Central Minneapolis client is looking for an Accounting Specialist to join their dynamic team! In this fantastic opportunity, you will assist with AP invoice entry, reconciling credit card statements, monthly billing, editing/reviewing invoices prior to sending, and assisting with collections.

Although a degree is not required, an ideal candidate for this position will have an Associates Degree in Accounting/Finance or a related field. 1+ years of accounts receivable, including billing, experience is required. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel is also required.

This opportunity provides exceptional work-life balance and hybrid flexibility. Once fully trained, you will be able to work from home 34 days per week, with the exception of 12 days per week in the office. Parking stipend is offered, as well as pretax transportation!

  • Experience with spreadsheets and ERP systems is recommended.
  • Accounting or related field AA or BS/BA preferred
  • Ability to prioritize workload and perform in a fast-paced, demanding environment
  • Data entry skills that are precise and quick
  • Solid knowledge of ProLaw time and billing
  • Extensive experience with Check Runs
  • Strong knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Excellent knowledge of Reconcile Vendor Statements
  • Commercial Collections Expertise
  • Excellent Billing Statements experience
  • General knowledge of Credit Card Reconciliation
  • Experience in billing is required.
  • Experience with commercial collections
  • Handson experience with Microsoft Excel and proven knowledge of invoice entry
  • A thorough understanding of Credit Card Reconciliation Experience with Invoice Entry
  • Previous work included processing vendor invoices.
  • Knowledge of Billing Functions in Practice
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel
