Position Description:
As necessary, this person will collaborate with the regional sales teams. The assigned named accounts and/or geographical areas are only a few examples of the national account manager’s territory.
The National Account Manager will use recurring business sales and maintenance management contract renewals to guarantee that new and existing customers continue to choose Dickinson as their preferred source.
Principal responsibilities and duties:
- Own your annual sales goals and achieve them.
- Create annual plans to manage, expand, and maintain the revenue from allocated accounts and contractual connections.
- To reach or exceed your revenue quota, look into, qualify, pursue, and close upsell and cross-sell possibilities.
- Through efficient sales and marketing initiatives, develop, preserve, and expand account relationships. To connect Dickinson solutions with the client’s continuing needs, get a thorough awareness of account organizations, decision-making processes, and business priorities. Increase S&S revenue when client needs shift. Learn about vertical industries to create creative answers to consumer needs.
- To effectively handle and close difficult sales situations, use the Challenger-based selling strategy.
- Utilize knowledge and consultative selling practices to give clients input on market trends, tactics, and difficulties.
- Utilize CRM to manage sales activity, create and maintain an active funnel, and submit precise monthly projections.

Qualification:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is a must, although a bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred.
- You should be motivated to win and close deals if you have a positive attitude, lots of energy, passion, and a competitive spirit.
- 5+ years working in a sales position servicing significant accounts with a minimum yearly sales revenue of $1M or greater.
- A proven track record of managing client relationships and increasing revenue, including growing clientele both nationally and within a given account.
- knowledge of the sales, account retention, and renewal procedures for contractual services, ideally with BPO.
- Ability to build relationships with top executives (functional and C-suite) in order to provide productive sales dialogues that are pertinent to client needs and business drivers
- Strong team leadership abilities to plan overall corporate solutions, including specials, exceptions, or adaptations of service offerings to satisfy consumer and/or competitive needs.
- Basic financial literacy abilities. Ability to analyze revenue, cost, and margin trends after reviewing P&L, 10k, and other financial papers.
- Advanced communication abilities must be shown in presentations, writing, and conversational interactions.
- Understanding of CRM technologies.
- Must be capable of committing to significant travel, up to 50% travel (day and overnight trips).
- Proficiency with PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel, as well as knowledge of social media sites, especially LinkedIn.
- Other tasks as required or appropriate
- Requires both physical stamina and mental sharpness to carry out job activities efficiently and on schedule to meet corporate needs.
- Ability to customize communication to the demands of the client.
