What you’ll do

• Oversees the organization’s training, development, and performance improvement.
• Creates an accountability culture to guarantee that the team meets its objectives.
• Participates in the creation and upkeep of the group budget for each fiscal year.
• Performs frequent performance reviews and staff talks with the goal of aiding team members’ development.
• When required by the organization, administers Company rules and policies.
• Ensures that department processes, procedures, and efficiencies are constantly improved.
• Creates tools and analytics to aid in business management.
• Management of projects to achieve departmental and corporate goals and strategies
• As needed, acts as a contact with the FAA.

Everything you’ll need to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or in a field related to the job function
• Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT / A&P License) with the FAA
• The FCC GROL (General Radiotelephone Operators License – Avionics)
• Working knowledge of the SCEPTRE system
• Comprehensive knowledge of AA Policy and Processes
• Yellow Belt or above in a recognized organization’s Lean/Six Sigma principles
• Knowledge of project management approaches
• Basic knowledge of computer system functions, architecture, and characteristics
• 5 years of leadership experience in a complementary job
• 5 years of commercial aviation experience
