Customer service representatives will be assigned shifts of 20 to 40 hours each week.

In Los Angeles, California, Ticket/Gate Agents start out earning $23.81 per hour. All through the first 10.5 years, there are ongoing wage increases.
All customer service representatives must be able to comprehend and answer to a range of inquiries about travel-related information in addition to working consistently in public spaces. You can also be in charge of accompanying unaccompanied youngsters and passengers with disabilities through the airport. Long durations of standing are necessary for this job.
Responsibilities:
Our customers are greeted by Customer Service Representatives who are also Ticket Agents to help them with the ticketing and luggage check-in processes. When you:
- In order to help consumers with the ticketing and luggage check-in processes, greet them.
- To sell, print, and reissue tickets, use a computer.
- Control the check-in procedure and make sure that clients have the appropriate travel documents.
- Do lifting jobs, such as tagging luggage and moving it from scales to conveyor belts.
- Some lifting jobs include moving objects that are at waist level and as low as the floor.
- In all operating processes and procedures, adopts safety-conscious behaviors.
- Gate agents that are also customer service representatives assist passengers with gate boarding, trip planning, and routing. When you:
- Make gate announcements on the boarding process, aircraft status, checking and handling baggage, managing, and starting the boarding process using computers to help customers with seat availability.
- Lift, open, close, and secure aircraft doors as well as operate jet ways to position them in the proper location before an aircraft arrives.
- In all operating processes and procedures, adopts safety-conscious behaviors.

Requirements:

- GED, High School Equivalency, or a high school diploma.
- Age requirement of 18 years or older.
- English proficiency is a must.
- Excellent communication abilities in both written and spoken form using acceptable language, tone, and pronunciation.
- Have rudimentary computing abilities.
- Must be able to pass a test in customer service.
- Lift frequently bags or anything weighing 50 pounds or more.
- Occasional lifting of bags or objects weighing 50 to 70 pounds.
- Be prepared to work a set and/or rotating schedule that includes weekends, holidays, evenings, and afternoons.
- Pass a pre-employment drug test after receiving an offer.
