The Sports Property Sales team at the New York office is looking for an assistant. The entire process of sports sponsorships and collaborations will be involved in this function. The Assistant is in charge of helping two Sports Property Sales Executives with their day-to-day work, performing research on the industry, launching business growth projects, and helping with the partnership sales process. If you’re interested in a career in sales and sports collaborations, this position might be ideal for you. The ideal applicant also has a strong attention to detail, is well-organized, and enjoys offering excellent customer service. The CAA structure values assistants, and it is envisaged that the chosen applicant will eventually advance to the position of agent.
Responsibilities:
- Daily team assistance, including scheduling meetings with clients, making travel arrangements, paying bills, handling calls, and managing the team’s calendar.
- As needed, conduct general market research on: Events, Brands, Territories, Laws, and Competitors
Oursuing new business opportunities across expanding sectors and brands - Making presentations for meetings with clients and new business
- Handle a heavy workload and give time-sensitive projects top priority
- Conduct research and data analysis to produce insights and briefings
- General support for the group’s current efforts
Requirements:
- 0–1 years of experience, which may include full-time employment or internships
- It is desirable if you have administrative expertise managing calendars, phone and email correspondence, expenses, and travel.
- Ability to manage numerous projects at once and prioritize a hectic job
- Ability to maintain organization and be detail-oriented
- Self-motivated individual who explores on their own initiative and isn’t scared to pose questions
- Professional conduct when establishing business connections at all levels
- It would be ideal if you have prior expertise in the marketing, branding, or sponsorships industries.
- The capacity to multitask and work autonomously while adhering to rigorous deadlines.
- Very organizing and detail-oriented skills
- Superior writing, editing, and proofreading abilities
- It is recommended to use Microsoft Office and to make presentations.
- Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite or comparable creative software, as well as project management expertise, are pluses
This position will be based in the New York, New York, office.
Compensation
This position’s starting hourly wage is $22.00. Benefits and a bonus are also available for this employment.
