Responsibilities

  • Participate in the product strategy and KRAs for the editorial features and newsroom tools on our website and publications.
  • Talk on behalf of the team when speaking with senior management, product, design, and technology partners, as well as the newsroom.

Execution

  • Drive the whole product development process, from concept generation and design through to development, launch, and optimization.
  • Manage sprint planning and release coordination, including providing project status, visibility, and progress updates (as needed).
  • Make a plan and make sure the product backlog is groomed, prioritized, and has enough detail.

Collaboration

  • Work together with stakeholders, designers, and engineers to gather feature requests, trends in user behavior, and issue analyses to pinpoint the product’s potential for improvement.
  • To keep delivery on schedule, collaborate closely with engineers and leads to produce the required artifacts.
