A member of CT’s Business Licensing (“BL”) Team, the Customer Service Operations Associate (“CSOA”) – Filing Manager works in the Account Services Department. The preparation and submission of BL filing applications required to acquire, modify, renew, or close licenses for our clients is the main responsibility of CSOA.

Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET or 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. ET (Shift allows for flexibility if necessary; it includes two 15-minute breaks and an hour-long lunch break.)

Responsibilities:

• Send in 50–100 applications every week, depending on the intricacy of the files.
• Prepare and submit renewals and applications for a range of clients and sectors, including standard, advanced, and specialty applications.
• Maintain close communication with Customer Success Associate-Account Managers (“CSA”) to guarantee prompt completion of all outstanding filing orders and to address any obstacles to licensure.
• Make sure that any modifications to the filing procedure are communicated to BL’s onboarding and/or research teams so that they may be recorded in our internal database.
• Function well in a collaborative, internal team setting.

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree and/or relevant experience in a setting where customers are the priority
• Experience obtaining business licenses (useful, not necessary; don’t stress)
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook from the Microsoft Office Suite and superior data entry abilities
• Exceptional communication skills both in writing and speaking
• Strong ability to multitask and solve problems
• Outstanding organizational, analytical, and time-management abilities
• Prosper in a dynamic, fast-paced setting
• Familiarity with correct data entry
