Responsibilities:
The Customer Care Associate will answer incoming calls with questions about The State of Kentucky and the services it offers. CSRs will answer, investigate, and deliver pertinent and correct information to customers throughout phone conversations.
- Inbound Call Center: The agent is in charge of answering calls, handling concerns, and guaranteeing the integrity and quality of the call while adhering to established protocols and norms.
- Responds to inquiries on a range of topics pertaining to State benefits
- Resets callers’ personal identification in the Interactive Voice Response system if they are unable to assist themselves.
- Compiles data, investigates and addresses questions, and accurately records client conversations.
- Proficiency in reading and analyzing stored document formats.
- Comprehend and store copious amounts of information.
- Should the need arise, the associate should be able to professionally answer and handle escalated calls.
- Communicates suitable possibilities for solutions in a prompt manner.
- Evaluates the needs of the client and notifies them of the services and resources that are at their disposal.
Requirements:
- A GED or high school diploma
- Background checks and drug tests are necessary
- Being bilingual is an advantage.
- At least one year of phone customer service experience in a call center, or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in computer literacy and multitasking abilities
- Typing a minimum of 25 words per minute
