Responsibilities:
- Give fast, accurate, and customer-focused disability, life, and/or leave claim information to a variety of internal and external callers.
- In order to properly document new claim submissions, continuing claims, other relevant situations, etc., gather information from a variety of sources.
- Keep accurate and user-friendly records of information exchanged in our claim system, with summaries that are easy to understand.
- Send out precise and timely claim acknowledgement letters.
- Received documents should be processed quickly and with good coding integrity.
- Continue to adhere to operating standards in full.
- Meet or surpass operational metrics for call centers.
- Continually provide exceptional, sincere, and sympathetic customer service in all of your dealings.
- To gain the caller’s trust, do the proper steps. Recognize and respond to client demands in advance.
- As a team, support one another by being adaptable, cooperating, and fostering a healthy work atmosphere.
- Continue to act with professionalism and honesty at all times.
- Make a conscious effort to promote a positive work environment and show that you are committed to quality.
- Show a growing level of expertise with the department’s managed products (STD, SDI, AM, LTD, Life, and AD&D).
- Carry out additional duties as directed by management.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and writing abilities
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of other software programs and Microsoft Office
- Capacity to prioritize and multitask
- Maintain a keen sense of detail even when working under duress.
- Work in a call center setting with production tools linked to telephony.
