You will be responsible for…

• Using a variety of debugging tools, we solve issues with our Pricefx products’ application layer as well as their platforms (database, Java server, integration components).
• using our test platforms to test and validate technical issues, recreate errors
• analysis of the data streams that pass between our integration engines and the e-commerce platforms used by customers
• investigations into a range of occurrences, including notifications from our monitoring platforms
• Internal and external conversations with customers in writing and on the phone
• Virtual consultations with the client’s professionals to further our inquiries
• creates and develops support systems to keep track of the platform and applications (processor, memory, disk, log errors)
• locating generic SW problems, logging them, and alerting our Development team to them
• assisting with periodic maintenance and upgrade operations on our customers’ partitions
• taking part in standby tasks throughout the weekend and on business days
• keeping system documentation up to date

The following qualifications are required:

• Java and Java EE
• Knowledge of the groove is advantageous
• Database – knowledge of either MySQL, Postgres, or Oracle
• Knowledge of JavaScript and the Google Web Toolkit is advantageous.
