A strong clinical background and at least five years of practical clinical experience are required for the Communications Clinical Writer and Presenter. They will be a subject-matter expert on clinical subjects and should be able to write about emotional wellbeing and daily life struggles in a tone that is welcoming to members. They will write the copy for the content library, core collateral, and monthly promos for RFL Communications. Additionally, the clinical writer/presenter will create and deliver live and recorded webinars and trainings for members, help with the creation of content for and the production of podcasts, and provide presentations on various themes for member communication videos. They will take part in specific communications projects, and in some situations, they will lead them.
They’ll undergo trainings to keep their expertise current as they maintain their clinical licensing on an annual basis. They will collaborate with business stakeholders to satisfy the demands for clinical writing, review, and insight in communications. They will be educated about and follow the Aetna/CVS writing standards and guidelines. They will be familiar with the Aetna/CVS design standards and follow them in any designed work they undertake.
Responsibilities:
- Creating and maintaining a training presentation library and catalog (includes writing and design in PowerPoint)
- Providing Plan Sponsors with trainings as necessary
- Making and maintaining webinar presentations (includes writing and design in PowerPoint)
- Providing members with live and recorded webinars
- Taking part in the planning and recording of the Think Tank or another podcast
- Taking part in the planning and recording of the Let’s Talk or other video project
- Working on marketing requests as they come in, getting in touch with requestors, working with team members and subject-matter experts to meet the demand.
- Collaborating with account executives and plan sponsors on marketing campaigns and unique communication demands
- Creating and updating materials for members that address a range of issues related to mental health and daily living
- Creating marketing content, such as blog posts, how-to books, podcast episodes, manager newsletter pieces, infographics, etc.
- Taking part in specific awareness initiatives and annual promotional planning
- Working as a clinical communications subject matter expert on special projects
Pay Scale
The usual pay scale for this position is as follows: 60,300 minimum; 130,000 maximum
Please remember that this range represents the salary range for every position in the job grade that this position belongs to. The location is just one of several variables that will be considered when determining the actual compensation offer.
Required credentials
- Keeps clinical license (can include LCSW, CMHC, LPC, LMFT, LMHC, etc.)
- Five or more years of clinical practice
- 2+ years of experience making presentations (virtual or live)
- 3 to 5 years of experience in marketing or writing
- Excellent PowerPoint abilities and 3-5 years of experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficient knowledge of Word, Outlook, and Excel.
