A key component of creating and implementing successful RQM+ proposals is the Senior Proposal Writer. Leading the proposal creation process, working with cross-functional teams, and generating excellent, persuasive proposals that meet the goals and demands of clients are their responsibilities. The Senior Proposal Writer is responsible for overseeing the quality of all proposals, identifying areas for process and tool improvements, and mentoring other members of the proposal team.
Responsibilities:
- Oversees the Trial Services proposal development process from start to finish.
- helps with the completion of the tasks listed in the RQM+ Sales Procedure for the production of the Request for Proposal/Statement of Work (SOW), which comprises the Budget/Project Estimation Form (PEF), SOW, Pre-Proposals, Change Authorizations (CA), and Requests for Information (RFI).
- oversees the creation of the sales deliverable, directing the definition of its scope, levels of resources, and operational strategy in collaboration with the leads in business development and operations.
- makes sure the text deliverables and budget are in line to produce a high-quality sales deliverable.
- In order to guarantee that the designed services are precisely defined as stated in the sales package, collaborates with the relevant stakeholders to define and clarify the project scope, activities, and hours.
- oversees the creation and submission of answers to intricate RFIs and RFPs using input from clients, SMEs, and business development.
- keeps an eye on the proposal process and uses the concepts of continuous improvement to promote advancements.
- Creates a plan for the creation of proposals and manages the contributions of various team members, making sure that deadlines are fulfilled and information is properly incorporated.
- thoroughly examines draft proposals to ensure that they are accurate, compliant, and clear.
- keeps correct, current SFDC records, enters CSS data for assigned opportunities into Salesforce (SFDC), and tracks proposal development metrics.
- oversees the development of proposal tools and training, collaborates with important parties to provide training as required.
- oversees the additions and alterations to the contract text.
- works closely with internal counsel to make sure that RQM+’s interests are given priority in line with client wishes and local regulations.
- strikes a balance between resources, client expectations, and project demands.
- communicates best practices and lessons learned to the proposal team in order to increase overall efficacy.

Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration or a similar discipline is preferred.
- It is necessary to have at least three to five years of professional experience creating proposals and trial budgets.
- It is preferable if one has prior experience working in the life sciences/medtech industry, particularly in clinical trial services, lab operations, or consulting.
- Capacity to guide and teach others and promote uniformity amongst several writers.
- Proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and business software, data analysis, reporting, and writing are examples of advanced computer abilities.
