We are seeking a part-time writer to work with different pediatric specialists to provide interesting and educational short-form material for our app. The chosen applicant should possess excellent interviewing and short-form content writing abilities. They must also have a thorough understanding of in-app and mobile content. Topics related to child development and parenting will be the main focus of the program.

This is a 12-month contract job with full remote work and flexible hours of 15 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

• Write brief articles about parenting and child development for a mobile-only readership.
• Interview pediatric specialists to verify content relevancy and correctness. Meet deadlines and oversee several projects at once.
• Work together with our team to generate ideas for content.
• Keep abreast on breakthroughs in child development and parenting as well as industry trends.
• Content input requirements for the Content Management System

Requirements:

• At than three years of demonstrated writing experience, ideally with a focus on child development or parenting; strong writing, editing, and proofreading abilities
• strong interviewing and research abilities
• demonstrated artistic talent for writing that truly affects users and readers
• Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS)

Restitution

$35 to $48 per hour, depending on experience
