Responsibilities:

• Examine requests for proposals (RFPs) to comprehend specifications
• Together with the proposals manager, create a response plan.
• Create a preliminary response strategy outline for every section of the proposal.
• Work together with the IXL curriculum, sales, marketing, and product teams to obtain the data and vocabulary required for answers.
• Create compliant and persuasive proposals by customizing already-existing information and creating new content in response to subject matter expert (SME) feedback to communicate winning themes.
• Assure flawless, professional, and high-quality proposal documents.
• Assemble completely responsive proposal packages in collaboration with the proposals team.
• Updating and maintaining the proposal content library
• Assist with catalog bids and other proposal-related responsibilities.
• As required, assist sales and marketing departments with copywriting.

Requirements:

• BS or BA degree
• three to five years of experience writing grants, proposals, or copy; strong command of grammar and writing in English
• the capacity to create text from talks and bullet point inputs
• deadline-driven and capable of multitasking
• incredibly meticulous, emphasizing consistency, quality, and clarity
• Knowledge of Google Apps, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Acrobat is advantageous. Knowledge of K–12 education
