What is ahead for you? Excellent work. A senior technical writer is needed for a significant automaker in Marysville, Ohio.

This Marysville, Ohio-based role is entirely remote.
8:30am–5pm, Monday–Friday

• Pay: $32.50 to $40.63 an hour depending on experience

Responsibilities:

• In charge of creating SOPs for various program management procedures in Human Resources
• The newly deployed HR Core system will use these SOPs to address both business and technical procedures (SuccessFactors)
• These SOPs will include new procedures that are not yet in use.
• There won’t be a download of current state procedures during the intake session.
• Will play a crucial part in navigating the considerations that must be made while creating and recording the flow of processes.
• Will interview SMEs and a range of users to obtain information and understand the process step by step.
• Then create SOPs that are thorough and simple for non-technical users to understand.
• Recommends SOP forms, designs, and styles, and is well aware of the functioning and goal of the finished project.
• Will lead/direct the SMEs from various fields (including HR, IT, and others) by efficiently navigating the information intake session and asking the right questions.

Requirements:

• English, journalism, or technical writing as a major in your field of communications, or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of expertise in technical writing, preferably with an emphasis on HR administrative procedures (merit, bonus, salary administrations)
• Extensive knowledge with controlling deadlines and several projects
• Expected Overtime: 0 to 5 hours per week
