To join the Integrated Marketing Team, Cigna is looking for a Senior Marketing Communications Analyst that has exceptional traffic management skills. Within the Customer Communications Hub (the Hub), this position supports customer communications governance and operations. For content across all platforms, the Hub offers business partners Enterprise Customer Communications Governance, writing assistance, and customer communications know-how.
The Senior Analyst is in charge of overseeing Hub reporting, internal content management, and assignment systems. Additionally, this role reviews and updates existing communications as part of the governance process to make sure they are straightforward, beneficial, and clear and adhere to all applicable legal, compliance, brand, and other guidelines.
The chosen applicant will directly support the Hub’s communications governance and operational effectiveness while also assisting with writing and project management requirements. The ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing, pay close attention to detail, and be comfortable with computer programs and website platforms are all requirements for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Serves as the Hub intake management system’s principal resource and traffic manager for Aprimo. ensures that a project manager is assigned to each incoming work request and that a timely response is given.
- To improve customer comprehension and satisfaction, rewrites letters, forms, and other transactional and engagement messages.
- Gives Marketing Operations important feedback regarding the functionality of and a need for enhancements to Aprimo.
- Responds to incoming requests for information and support while monitoring and evaluating the Customer Communications Hub mailbox.
- Oversees the gathering and reporting of metrics for open and completed projects.
- Supports the creation and upkeep of important Hub resources, like the enterprise clear communication policy and the words we use standards.
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal and project management abilities.
- Consistently applies continuous understanding of Brand Guidelines, Customer Communication Policy, products, services, audiences, and distribution channels when generating communications, or is willing to do so.
- Utilizes research to enhance customer communication and to better understand our customers.
- Is an ardent advocate for and representation of our customers.
Requirements:
- An English, journalism, communications, or marketing bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- 2+ years’ minimum experience in writing, preferably with customer communications.
- Experience in traffic management of at least two years, preferably gained at an advertising agency or corporate marketing firm.
- Working knowledge of SharePoint, Aprimo, or other content management and assignment tools.
- Strong proficiency with and comprehension of Microsoft Office programs like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with diverse audiences that shows an open-minded viewpoint.
- Working knowledge of data gathering applications like Google Analytics and SharePoint Data Lists.
- Strong relationship management abilities, including the capacity to promote collaboration and value various viewpoints.
- Excellent communication skills both in writing and speaking.
- Focused on the details.
- The capacity to function well under pressure and in a fluid, highly matrixed environment.
- Basic knowledge of marketing and advertising concepts.
