Responsibilities:
- Develop, write, direct, and produce short and long-form videos for various purposes, including live events, social media, internal, and external marketing efforts. Utilize a data-driven, test-and-learn approach in collaboration with the team and business stakeholders.
- Lead and collaborate on video projects from pre-production to the delivery of multiple video assets within budget and on time.
- Conduct documentary-style, on-camera interviews, coordinate with videographers to gather video assets, identify story opportunities, interviewees, locations, B-roll, and more.
- Oversee the editing process, including writing paper edits, collaborating with editors, motion graphics artists, audio mixers, colorists, and providing feedback on edits with input from business stakeholders and legal.
- Analyze performance data and use insights to make incremental video optimizations at scale.
- Manage purchase orders (POs), budgets, contracts, legal feedback, and stakeholder feedback.
- Be available to travel up to 50%, sometimes on short notice.
Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent technical degree in Film Production.
- 7+ years of experience in producing video content.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A portfolio showcasing previous work as a Story Producer.
- Experience managing complex Marketing workflows for content creation.
- Proven track record of collaboration with designers, producers, agencies, and content creators.
- Ability to work on multiple projects with competing deadlines and effectively prioritize deliverables.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere, as well as knowledge of camera and video production equipment.
- 5+ years of experience on a creative team in an advertising agency or corporate marketing department.
- Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite for motion graphics, video networking, and post-production workflows.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite for communications and collaboration.
- Online portfolio showcasing a range of qualifying work.
- Strong storytelling skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives from diverse content sources.
- Proven track record of collaboration with designers, producers, agencies, and content creators.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines and effectively prioritize deliverables.
