Responsibilities:

  • Execute: Have the ability to take written specifications and visual designs in sketch form and translate them into semantic html/css/js that is accessible, scalable, performant, and reusable across all major browsers.
  • Make it move: We enjoy crafting engaging experiences for our visitors. We use JavaScript animation and CSS to bring our pages to life.
  • Components: The product team and clients should be able to add content and alter the components by creating reusable Gutenberg blocks.
  • Reuse: Create a WordPress component or block library that can be applied to many customer projects.

Requirements:

  • Two or more years of front-end WordPress development experience are required.
  • strong knowledge of HTML and CSS, with an emphasis on performance and cross-browser compatibility.
  • the capacity to build efficient, cutting-edge JavaScript using the newest technology.
  • We anticipate that you are familiar with git and Github.
  • familiarity with front-end development technologies (like Webpack).
  • knowledge of working remotely.
  • capable of deciphering designs and/or specifications with ease and considering the best method for bringing it into compliance with regulations.
  • a thorough knowledge of appropriate UI and UX techniques for websites.
  • knowledge of Adobe XD and Sketch.
  • expertise developing custom blocks with Gutenberg and WordPress.
  • practical knowledge in working with component systems.
  • estimating a project’s work and translating specifications into activities that are definite and doable.

Good to haves:

  • React experience
  • Knowledge of Node.js
  • Knowledge of Shopify
  • comprehension of WCAG conformance for accessibility. the capacity to audit current websites and put accessibility guidelines into practice.
